Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) To reflect on the anniversary of 9/11 and give back to the community, the Buck-A-Neer Supper Club will be donating 11 percent of all sales on Wednesday to local police and fire departments.
“We felt that on the anniversary of the tragic events of September 11, 2001, we should use that as a way to honor the local departments and help to equip the men and women that continue to put themselves in harms way to protect all of us,” said Scott Kleinschmidt, General Manager/Owner.
The Marshfield Police Department, Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department, and Stratford Area Fire Department will be the recipients. For similar events in the future, the restaurant will rotate through other local departments.
Additionally, for over a year the Buck-A-Neer Supper Club has offered a 15 percent Red, White, and Blue discount on meals to police officers, firefighters, rescue personnel, active military and veterans as another way to say thank-you for their service.
“The owners of the Buck-A-Neer believe in supporting the local law enforcement, fire and rescue, and our military and we are happy to be involved with this event,” said Kleinschmidt.
Visit the Buck-A-Neer on 9/11 at 122923 Cty Rd C in Stratford from 4-8 p.m. to participate in the event.
