Marshfield (OnFocus) – Sternweis & Sons in Marshfield is no stranger to pouring concrete for manure pits, but recently the locally-owned business completed its biggest manure pit pour to date.
Designed to hold 15 million gallons of manure, upon completion over 2500 yards of concrete will be used for the project located at Dietsche Farms in Loyal.
“We have poured over a dozen manure pits in the surrounding area, with this job being the largest,” said Mary Kollmansberger. “Sternweis & Sons is a 3rd generation family owned business. We are proud to serve the dairy and commercial business and residential projects in the surrounding area.”
