Cadott Baseball Drops Season Opener to Ellsworth
Cadott Varsity baseball lost their opening game at Ellsworth last night 3-1.
“We couldn’t get the bats going but our pitching and defense was solid and kept us in the game until the end,” shared Head Coach Brandon Geist.
Standouts were:
Warren Bowe had a double
Carter Matherne Joel Weeks and Drew Rykal all recorded hits.
Aiden Rykal took the loss on the mound pitching 4 solid innings giving up 3 runs striking out 6
Drew Rykal threw 2 innings giving up no runs striking out 1
Cadott hosts Gilman Monday at 5pm
