Voting for the OnFocus Team of the Week, January 2 – January 8 saw a spirited two-way race for the top spot.
When the dust settled, it was Cadott Girls Basketball that collected 647 votes, and was voted the title of OnFocus Team of the Week, January 2 – January 8.
Finishing a close second was the Marshfield Boys Swimming Team, which picked up 622 votes.
Third place went to Pacelli Girls Basketball, garnering 154 votes.
OnFocus Team of the Week, January 2 – January 8
- Athens Boys Basketball – The Bluejays continued their fine season, picking up wins this week over Nekoosa(62-58) and Abbotsford (73-26).
- Pacelli Girls Basketball(nominated online) – The Cardinals are 4-0 and tied atop the CWC South Girls Basketball Standings.
- Marshfield Boys Swimming – The Tigers picked up a pair of big wins this week. Marshfield downed Wisconsin Rapids 127-43 and defeated DC Everest 127-26.
- Cadott Girls Basketball (nominated online) – The Hornets are off to a 10-1 start, and picked up three wins this week: 83-38 over Independence, 68-47 over Bloomer and a 69-19 trouncing of Gilmanton.
- Port Edwards Boys Basketball- The Blackhawks are 3-0 and tied for first in the CWC South, and are 7-4 overall.
