Cadott Splits Cloverbelt Baseball DH with Osseo-Fairchild
Cadott varsity baseball got a split in doubleheader vs osseo last night. Game 1 was won 20-0 in 5 innings and game 2 we lost 12-1 in 6 innings. The bats came out hot in game 1 as we scored 20 runs on 15 hits and a 11 run 5th inning to help Warren Bowe put the game away. He threw all 5 innings by striking out 13 and only allowing 1 hit. Warren got the game started off with a leadoff homerun and we kept scoring from there. In game 2 we couldn’t get the offense going and made some mistakes on defense that we couldn’t recover from. Conner Roth took the loss on the mound but grinded out 4 innings to keep us in it but the bats got cold. Standouts Warren bowe was 3/4 at plate with homerun and 5 RBIs and the complete game shutout. Aiden rykal was 2/5 with double and 3 runs scored Axel tegels was 2/5 with rbi Conner Roth was 2/2 with 2 RBIs and 2 stolen bases Michael wellner was 2/4 with 2 RBIs Isaac wellner was 1/2 with 2 RBIs 3 walks and 2 stolen bases Brandon Sikora was 1/3 with 3 RBIs and 3 runs scored Gabe Sikora came off bench and got rbi single
