Cars Burglarized Near Wildwood Park

MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Two vehicles were broken into and items were stolen at an apartment complex near Wildwood Zoo over the weekend according to police reports.

The vehicles were parked in the parking lot of an apartment complex on West 17th Street between South Balboa Avenue and South Adams Avenue.

The first vehicle was said to have been secure in the report and there was no evidence of forced entry. However, the burglar made off with a wallet that had a debit card and social security card inside of it among other things.

The second vehicle was entered and a handgun was stolen. Efforts to collect a DNA sample were completed.

The thefts are believed to have occurred between Friday night at 11 p.m. and 11:30 a.m. the next morning.
