Celebrate National Girls and Women in Sport Day at Wisconsin Women’s Basketball

Youth teams and coaches will enjoy free admission plus the chance to meet student-athletes, test their skills with the Badgers

Madison, Wis. – Celebrate National Girls & Women in Sports Day, presented by Kohl’s, with Wisconsin women’s basketball on Sunday, February 6 at the Kohl Center.

The festivities begin at 11 a.m. prior to the Wisconsin vs. Illinois game at 1 p.m. Fans can enjoy fun and interactive games, a chance to interact with female student-athletes, and more.

This pre-game event will wrap up at 12:30 p.m. in advance of the Big Ten matchup against Illinois. Tickets can be purchased online for only $2 in advance of the game or purchased the day of the game once the ticket office opens at Gate B of the Kohl Center.

Pre-registered Youth basketball teams will enjoy FREE admission to the game. Full details on how coaches can register their teams can be found HERE.

During the game, as part of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the UW Athletic Department will launch their year-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX.

Plus, fans will enjoy the Badger Halftime Showcase featuring Steve Max, the world’s only professional Simon Says caller.
