MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Central Chamber Chorale celebrates its 51st Season with opera and operetta choruses including two fun opera parodies in the first half of the concert. The Chorale performs Arise, Shine! by Dan Forrest, Claude Debussy’s Beau Soir, and Sure on This Shining Night by Morten Lauridsen followed by five Revival Camp song.
The performance is on Sunday, March 26th at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 1208 W. 14th St., Marshfield. There are also performances on Friday, March 24th at 7:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church in Wisconsin Rapids and Saturday, March 25th at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church 321 N. Park Ave. in Medford.
The concerts are open to the public without charge. The concert is sponsored, in part by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the state of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the arts and promotional support from Wisconsin Public Radio.
