MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Central Chamber Chorale celebrates its spring concert season with music from Bach to Bernstein. In the first half of the concert the Chorale performs music by J.S. Bach, William Billings, Ludwig van Beethoven, and Anton Bruckner. Beethoven’s “O Sanctissima” features flute accompanists Kristina Kaiser and Lynnette Mort. Bruckner’s Antiphon features soloist Greg Reierson. The second half includes music by Johannes Brahms, Samuel Barber, and Leonard Bernstein. “Take Care of This House” from 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE features cellist Mya Ellis.
The performance is on Sunday, March 30th at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 1208 W. 14th St., Marshfield. There is also a performance on Saturday, March 29th at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 321 N. Park Ave. in Medford.
The concerts are open to the public without charge. The Chorale is under the direction of Elizabeth Dahlby, who chose the lovely selection of music, and Jamie Jordan is the Chorale’s wonderful accompanist.
