Abbotsford (OnFocus) – A back and forth affair in the Marawood Conference North Division saw Chequamegon escape with a 52-47 win over Abbotsford.
The Screaming Eagles held a 3 point lead at the half, but saw the Falcons jump out to an 8 point lead in the second half. Chequamegon senior Collin Luhtala then came through with a trio of three-pointers, taking the lead back at 44-43 with six minutes left.
The Falcons kept it close down the stretch, but could not regain the lead in the final minutes.
