Mayor seeking those interested in serving on the Utility Commission and Historic Preservation Commission
MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – City of Marshfield Mayor Lois TeStrake is seeking a Utility Commissioner and Historic Preservation Commissioner. Both positions serve an integral part in our local government processes.
In order to be considered, members seeking to be on the Historic Preservation Commission need to be city residents and should have interest or background in historic preservation. Mayor TeStrake will appoint a commission member subject to confirmation by the Council.
Additionally, Mayor TeStrake is seeking city residents, but others in the area may be considered based on background and qualifications interested in serving as a commissioner on the Utility Commission.
Please submit a letter to the Office of the Mayor, located in City Hall, 207 W. 6th St. Marshfield WI. 54449, stating your qualifications and reasons for wanting to serve. This letter must be received by Wednesday, September 6, 2023. The names of the interested persons will be presented to the Common Council at its September 12, 2023 meeting.
