MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) — The City of Marshfield is proud to announce an extraordinary voter turnout in the recent fall election held on November 5, 2024. A record-breaking 10,307 voters cast their ballots, marking an impressive 98% participation rate among registered voters in the city. This turnout surpasses previous records, including a 92% turnout in 2020 and 88% in 2016.
The election saw significant early voting activity, with 2,477 in-person absentee ballots and 1,815 mail-in ballots returned before Election Day.
The City extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Clerk’s Office, City staff, and the dedicated volunteers who contributed their time and effort to ensure a smooth and efficient election process. Their hard work was instrumental in achieving this historic turnout.
