The City of Marshfield will retain ownership of Strohman Park, a firefighter memorial located next to the old City Hall building at 630 S. Central Ave.
Common Council approved the sale of City Hall on March 26 and will finalize in early May.
A Certified Survey Map (CSM) will create a separate parcel for Strohman Park, measured at 100×76 feet, essentially carving it out from the sale. The city also keeps easement rights for utilities in the alley on the building’s west side.
The item is presented for approval on the April 9 agenda for Common Council.
