Marshfield (OnFocus) – The City of Marshfield Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce the WIAA Division 1 baseball sectional championship games held at Jack Hackman Field, located in the Steve J. Miller Recreation Area near downtown Marshfield on Monday, June 21, 2021.
Home to the Marshfield Chaparrals, Legion and high school baseball, along with being the host to various baseball tournaments, Hackman Field is a high-quality facility with covered seating, great playing surface and many more amenities. Its selection as one of eight venues by the WIAA to host the 2021 baseball sectional championship games serves as a testament to the hard work the Parks and Recreation staff to maintain local fields and facilities as the WIAA selects the best facility in the geographical area that accommodates the crowd, has a high quality field and is easy to access. Three games will be played Monday; first at 10:00 A.M., second at 1:00 P.M., and the championship game at 4:00 P.M. Winners will advance to the WIAA baseball semifinals in Fond du Lac.
Marshfield Parks and Recreation is dedicated to providing and maintaining quality parks, fields and facilities to ensure high-quality recreational experiences for teams, fans, visitors and City residents.
