MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – Due to a recent resignation, we are seeking residents of the City of Marshfield interested in serving as a member on the Plan Commission for a term ending in 2024.
The City Plan Commission performs a variety of functions that deal with planning and overall development of the community. Commission responsibilities include, but are not limited to, reviewing and making recommendations to the Council on the following issues: conditional use permit applications, rezoning requests, alternative sign permits, amendments to community planning documents, preliminary and final plats, municipal code amendments, and other items as defined by State Statute.
Most public hearings for new development, redevelopment, and planning projects come before the Plan Commission. The meetings are typically held on the third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers of City Hall.
