Clark County experienced storm damage from an unconfirmed tornado Tuesday evening.
There was at least one confirmed tornado near Elk Mound around 8 p.m.

Update 9/26, 8:30am : The National Weather Service suspects that there were a few brief tornadoes but a damage survey has not yet been conducted. The NWS may complete a damage survey Thursday morning.

“A strengthening low pressure area produced severe weather as it moved quickly northeast from southwest Minnesota on Tuesday afternoon to western Lake Superior by midnight Tuesday night. This system produced several tornadoes in parts of Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
From 7:15 PM to 10 PM, severe weather (wind damage and hail) occurred mainly along and north of Interstate 90 in southeast Minnesota and western Wisconsin. A total of 11 severe weather warnings (10 Severe Thunderstorm and 1 Tornado Warning) were issued during this time period. Wind speeds were mainly in the 40 to 60 mph range. The strongest winds (70-80 mph) were reported in the Zumbro Falls, MN (Wabasha County).”
