Marshfield (OnFocus)- Neillsville Police Department will be mobilizing along with other local law enforcement agencies with a goal to emphasize compliance with traffic laws designed to keep people safe.
The campaign will be in effect from June 22nd to July 5th.
Statistics say that more than ninety percent of motorists in Wisconsin buckle up, but about half of deaths from traffic crashes were not wearing a seatbelt, according to a press release from Chief Jim Mankowski.
Mankowski also said that the movement is not to give citations to motorists but to achieve Zero Deaths on Wisconsin roads.
