With three weeks left in the season, some teams have clinched their playoff spot, some have some work to do, and no one has been eliminated yet. Next, we take a look at the Cloverbelt Conference
Playoff Qualified
None
Playoff-eligible and can clinch a playoff spot with one more win.
Neillsville-Granton (4-2, 3-1 Cloverbelt) vs Osseo-Fairchild, @Regis, vs Elk Mound
Neillsville-Granton is looking to punch its first ticket to the playoffs in over a decade. They host winless Osseo-Fairchild on Friday night with a chance to lock that spot in.
Mondovi (5-1, 3-1 Cloverbelt) vs Elk Mound, @Durand-Arkansas, vs Fall Creek
Mondovi pulled a major upset last week and took down Regis, setting up a chance for the Buffalo to lock down another playoff spot for last year’s D6 State Runner-up.
Regis (4-2, 3-1 Cloverbelt) @Stanley-Boyd, vs Neillsville/Granton, vs Osseo-Fairchild
Regis lost their first game in the conference since 2017, but only need to win one of their next three to lock in another trip to the playoffs.
Stanley-Boyd (5-1, 3-1 Cloverbelt) vs Regis, @Elk Mound, vs Durand-Arkansas
Stanley-Boyd has a tough test this week with Regis coming to town but only need one more win in their next three to lock in a playoff spot.
Work to do
Durand-Arkansas (2-4, 2-2 Cloverbelt) @Fall Creek, vs Mondovi, @Stanley-Boyd
Durrand-Arkansas has a tough road to lock down a playoff spot but can become eligible with a win over two-win Fall Creek this Friday.
Elk Mound (3-3, 2-2 Cloverbelt) @Mondovi, vs Stanley-Boyd, @Neillsville-Granton
Elk Mound has a tough road ahead if they want to make the playoffs, with three of the four co-leaders in the conference for the final three weeks, though only one upset would make them eligible.
Fall Creek (2-4, 0-4 Cloverbelt) vs Durand-Arkansas, @Osseo-Fairchild, @Mondovi
Fall Creek needs a couple upsets plus holding down the fort against Osseo-Fairchild to become eligible, a loss to Durand-Arkansas this Friday will end the hopes for the Crickets.
Osseo-Fairchild (0-6, 0-4 Cloverbelt) @Neillsville/Granton, vs Fall Creek, @Regis
While not technically eliminated, Osseo-Fairchild has a huge hill to climb. They need all three wins and face two of the top teams in the conference.
We will update these each week until the brackets are released and we break them down on October 14th.
