Pittsville – Colby girls and Colby/Abbotsford boys cross country teams had their first meet of the 2021 season. Both teams put up a good showing with each finished 2nd. For the boys they were lead by senior Talon Severson finishing 7th in 19:51.
“Talon has been a great leader as this season has begun,” shared Colby/Abbotsford Heach Cross Country Coach Bryon Graun.
Fellow senior Matt Mateer was Colby/Abbotsford’s 2nd runner followed by new comer Max Adam and senior Richard Streveler. Carter Roth was the 5th runner and Braxton Smith’s 35th place helped break the tie to give the team its 2nd place finish.
