The Colby Hornets moved to 3-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference with a dominating win over the Altoona Railroaders 65-0
Colby took control of the game early with two 1st quarter touchdown runs by Tyler Klement of 1 and 15 yards. The Hornets put the game away in the 2nd quarter with four more touchdowns, a 62 yard run by Klement, two long touchdown passes by Roman Schmitt, a 52-yard pass to Issac Karl and a 48-yard pass to Harley Schmelzer.
The Hornets would add three second-half touchdowns on two touchdown runs by Mason Voss and a third by Tevin Rue.
Klement lead the Hornets in rushing with 14 carries for 165 yards and three touchdowns. Schmitt was 5 of 7 passing for 145 yards and two touchdowns.
The Hornets next game is a non-conference matchup at Spring Valley Friday night at 7:00 PM
