Cold Front Brings Low Wind Chill Temps Through Thursday

GREEN BAY, WI (OnFocus) – The National Weather Service in Green Bay and La Crosse have issued a wind chill advisory for most of Wisconsin until Noon on Thursday.

According to the NWS, very cold arctic air and light northwest winds have combined to
produce wind chills of 20 below to 30 below zero tonight into Thursday morning.

Wind chills this cold can cause frostbite to exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
Use caution if you are planning any outdoor activities. Wear appropriate clothing, including a hat and gloves. Cover exposed skin to prevent frostbite.
