MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team is now 9-0 this season after defeating Gilman 65-56 on Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.
The Dons had their offense rolling in the first half, racing out to a 45-26 lead by halftime.
Bryce Fuerlinger poured in 25 points, Noah Taylor added 16, and Jarred Mandel scored 12 for Columbus, which is now 9-0 overall and 5-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division.
Gilman drops to 5-3 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
Columbus Catholic is off until Jan. 4 when it plays a conference game at Greenwood.
