Columbus Catholic Rides Record Shooting to Division 5 State Championship

The Columbus Catholic Dons set records in their run to the Division 5 State Championship, defeating Abundant Life Christian 81-75.

Columbus Catholic set records for most made 3’s in a Division 5 game (14), breaking the record they set on Friday (13), and most made 3’s in a tournament in Division 5 (27).

The Dons’ shot lights out, 14-31 from behind the arc and 21-22 from the free throw line.

The Don’s were led by Emmitt Konieczny with 31 points, Charlie Moore added 18, Blake Jakobi added 12.

Abundant Life Christian was led by Jonah Koon with 20, and Jacob Koon added 17.

Columbus Catholic ends the year 29-2. The school announced there would be a celebration for the team when students come back from Spring Break next week.
