Columbus Catholic volleyball wraps up Cloverbelt East title with sweep of Spencer

MARSHFIELD – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic volleyball team wrapped up its second-straight Cloverbelt Conference East Division title with a 3-0 sweep of Spencer on Tuesday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons won 25-17, 25-10, 25-14, to finish the Cloverbelt East schedule a perfect 7-0 without losing a set. Spencer is now 1-5 and finishes its conference schedule at home against Colby on Thursday.

Brooke Neider had 37 assists, eight digs and two service aces for Columbus Catholic.

Dorci Walker led the Dons with 11 kills, Kenzie Hansen added nine kills, and Maren Seefluth had eight kills, eight digs and four service aces in the win. Katie Hall chipped in seven digs and had a team-high five aces, and Annie Baierl had 19 digs for the Columbus defense.

Carsee Neitzel led Spencer with 13 digs, Chloe Drews had five kills, and Zalexis Mannigel had 11 assists for the Rockets.
