OnFocus – Columbus Catholic Schools have launched a fundraiser to support Ashley Herman, a senior at CCS. On Wednesday, January 27, 2021, Ashley Herman received the news that she has Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a blood cancer that starts in the lymphatic system which helps the immune system fight infections.

Jen Brock shared the following message on behalf of the Herman Family, via the CCS Facebook page:

“Columbus Catholic Schools would like to join the fight in support of Ashley and her family. Ashley and her family are all closely tied with Columbus Catholic Schools. Ashley currently attends CCHS as a senior. Her brother, Nick (Class of 2019), and father, Rod (Class of 1991), are both graduates of Columbus Catholic Schools, and her mother, Becca, is a 4th-grade teacher at Our Lady of Peace Intermediate School. Ashley’s fight to kick cancer has just started but she is not in it alone. Please consider purchasing an Ashley Strong t-shirt or donating to support the Herman Family.”

The deadline to order shirts is Friday, February 19, 2021, at 12:00 pm.Ashley’s medical plan involves months of chemotherapy along with other treatments. This is a long journey and her positivity has helped her so far. Let’s all join Ashley during this difficult time to help her win this battle. Your contribution and support will make such a huge difference in her life. All the raised money will directly go to Ashley’s treatment, medications, and other expenses.”

Please allow two weeks delivery. Shirts will be available for pick up from the Development Department at Columbus High School.

You can also donate by mailing a check to Columbus Catholic Schools Development Office (please write Ashley Herman in the memo line) at 710 S Columbus Avenue, Marshfield, WI 54449.

“While we are not able to take away all of the burdens, let’s help relieve the financial stress for one of our own. Thank you for your overwhelming support,” Brock wrote.
