MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) — The community is rallying to help locate Jippy, a Shetland Sheepdog who went missing on December 30, 2024. Jippy, who was previously named Thelma, has recently been spotted near Anton and Highway Y as of the morning of January 3, 2025, heading out of town.

Description of Jippy:

  • Breed: Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie)
  • Coloring: Tan or Cream, White, and Brown
  • Gender: Female
  • Temperament: Skittish and scared

Her caregivers stress the importance of not chasing, calling, or whistling to her, as this may scare her further and cause her to flee. Instead, they are asking for sightings to be reported so a food plot can be set up to help build trust and eventually trap her safely.

If you see Jippy, please do not approach her. Instead, contact Barb at (715) 486-6774 to report sightings immediately. Alternatively, you can email at [email protected] or view more details on Jippy’s Pet FBI profile here.

The team at Lost Dogs of Wisconsin and Pet FBI, alongside the local community, are working tirelessly to bring Jippy back home safely. Let’s come together and spread the word to ensure Jippy’s safe return.

Thank you for keeping an eye out and helping reunite Jippy with her family.
