Community Invited to Fundraiser in Support of Casper/Spindler Family

STRATFORD, WI (OnFocus) – The Casper/Spindler family faced an unimaginable challenge as they navigated their baby Hayden’s medical journey. Born five weeks premature on May 17, 2023, Hayden spent the first critical month of his life in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Throughout this time, it became clear that Hayden was struggling with multiple organ system issues, leading to surgery aimed at saving his life. Tragically, Hayden passed away on September 3, 2023, leaving a profound impact on those who knew him.

Brittany (Spindler) and Sven Casper, along with their two-year-old son, Hunter, have shown incredible strength and resilience as they faced the numerous challenges brought on by Hayden’s medical condition. The family has endured the emotional and financial burdens of extensive medical treatments, surgery, and the strain of being away from work to care for their child.

During Hayden’s medical journey, the Casper family found solace and support at the Ronald McDonald House in Madison while their son received critical medical care. This unwavering support system allowed them to focus on Hayden’s well-being during this trying time.

In honor of Hayden and in recognition of the Casper family’s courage, the community is coming together to provide financial support and comfort to the Casper family during their time of grief and healing.

Bauman Nursery’s Harvest Hangout ’23: A Fundraising Event

To help the Casper family during this challenging period, Bauman Nursery & Landscaping LLC is hosting “Bauman Nursery’s Harvest Hangout ’23” on September 16, 2023. The event will serve as a fundraiser to alleviate the significant financial burdens that the family has incurred due to Hayden’s medical journey. Community members are encouraged to attend and show their support.

The outpouring of support from the community has been tremendous, and every contribution makes a meaningful difference in helping the Casper family cope with their loss and the financial challenges they face.
