Law enforcement officers across the state took to the rooftop of their local Dunkin’ on Friday to support Special Olympics Wisconsin.
Members of Marshfield Police Department, Wood County Sheriff’s Department, and Marshfield Fire & Rescue will be present at Dunkin’ from 6-11 a.m.
“We’d love to see you be part of the celebration of Special Olympics,” said Police Chief Rick Gramza.
In exchange for the officers’ time, Dunkin’ donated $5,000 to the Special Olympics. Additionally, guests who made a donation at the event will receive a free coffee coupon.
Last year, officers raised more than $78,000 for the organization from 60 Dunkin’ locations.
