VESPER, WI (OnFocus) – Vesper Fire Department responded at 3:59 a.m. this morning to a fire alarm at Kerry Ingredients, in Vesper.
Upon arrival all employees were accounted for. Fire was determined to be in the no. 2 dryer and related equipment.
Firefighters extinguished fire in the dryer on the second, third, and fourth floors and checked for extension on the floors above.
The Vesper Fire Department was assisted by firefighters from Rudolph, Wis Rapids, Pittsville and Arpin Fire Departments.
There were no injuries to employees or firefighters. Fire crews were on scene for two hours. Damage was contained within the dryer and related equipment. Normal operations at Kerry Ingredients are resuming.
