D C Everest – 7, MERRILL HIGH – 0,
Merrill’s top doubles team of Chloe Belant and Sarah Rell played their best match of the year. In their third set they decided to just hit the ball much harder than they normally do and it worked. They ended up losing that third set but not because of their choice to hit the ball harder. Claire Hintz is starting to get in the varsity lineup. She had come a long ways as a freshman.
