D.C. Everest Swimmers Punch Wisconsin Valley Conference Win over Wisconsin Rapids
DCE – 101
WR – 65

“As head coach of the Lincoln High boys swim team, I want to congratulate DC Everest on their impressive performance in our meet, earning a 101-65 victory. While this outcome is not what we hoped for, I’m incredibly proud of our team’s effort, sportsmanship, and the progress we made throughout the competition.”

Report shared by Rapids Head Coach David Wittenberg

Despite the final score, our team achieved several personal records (PRs) that demonstrate the hard work our athletes are putting in every day.
A special highlight was our thrilling come-from-behind victory in the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:47.55. Swimmers José De La Cruz Chi, David Lee, Milan Montero, and anchor Brycen Henslin showed the grit and determination that define this team. Moments like these remind us of the potential we have and the exciting opportunities ahead this season.
This meet is a learning opportunity, and it has only fueled our determination to improve. We’ll be back in the pool, working harder than ever, with our sights set on the next time we meet DC Everest. The season is far from over, and I have no doubt this team will rise to the challenge.
