MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – On Saturday, December 7th, 2024, the Marshfield Police Department responded to a call regarding the discovery of human remains in a field adjacent to W. McMillan St, near N. St. Joseph’s Ave in the City of Marshfield.
Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and initiated an investigation.
The deceased is identified as Muhammed Naqeeb Zubair, 35 years old, from Southern California. Mr. Zubair was in Marshfield visiting family at the time of his death. The cause of death has not yet been determined, however there is no reason to suspect foul play nor is there any evidence to lead us to believe there is a risk to the community.
