OnFocus – At Wednesday’s Police and Fire Commission meeting, Deputy Chief Pete Fletty was named Acting Chief during current Chief Scott Owen’s extended absence. Owen is out on medical leave, effective immediately.
Fletty has been with the department for more than 22 years, and is currently the DC of Fire Prevention. Learn more about his experiences here.
“I wish Chief Owen a speedy recovery, and in the interim, we will all continue to help move the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department forward toward our long and short term goals,” said Fletty. “We will also continue to serve the citizens of Marshfield with Fire and EMS services delivered by highly competent and qualified personnel.”
