BABCOCK, WI (OnFocus) – Nature lovers and curious minds are invited to the Sandhill Wildlife Area on Saturday, May 10, for a day of discovery, education, and outdoor fun during the annual Open House from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Themed “All About Whitetail Deer,” this family-friendly event offers a fascinating look into the life and ecology of Wisconsin’s iconic deer population. Attendees can enjoy a free educational talk on deer ecology, followed by a scenic wagon tour through the wildlife area—designed to showcase interesting facts and the natural habitat of whitetails.
In addition to the featured deer experience, the event will include:
- A Nature Store with gifts and gear
- Live demonstrations
- Interactive displays for all ages
- Complimentary refreshments
