City Prepares For Aquatic Center’s Expanded Footprint
Marshfield (OnFocus) – The disk golf course at Wildwood Park in Marshfield has been permanently closed to make space for new Marshfield Outdoor Aquatic Center.
According to Parks Superintendent Ben Steinbach, starting Monday, June 22, trees were being removed and re-purposed for City owned trailer side boards and on dump trucks. Other sections of the trees will be utilized through the Wisconsin Urban Wood program.
The disk golf group has been working with Neillsville Parks Department to establish a location there and reuse the equipment from the Wildwood site.
