SPENCER, WI (OnFocus) – Though a tragic total loss to the barn structure, a fire in Spencer last week had a happy story emerge. A dog in need of assistance was treated with oxygen and is doing well.

The Spencer Department posted on social media:

“On a positive note thank you to Angie Kramas for the donation of oxygen/mask for our 4 legged friends! We were able to help provide oxygen for a dog in need.
On our departure from fire the dog was doing great!!”

These masks are life-saving devices for animals. Contact your local department to learn how to donate them.
