On Saturday, August 4th, Marshfield Police pulled over a vehicle in the 700 block of E. Depot Street. The male driver fled on foot during the stop. Additional officers were requested, including the K9 unit and support from Wood County. Police officials first searched the block of Arnold St. and Apple Ave.
When the K9 was not able to locate a trace, the search expand to the west of Depot to include the property of Masonite. Officers were not able to locate the male subject.
A 52 year-old Marshfield female, Barbara J. Bronston, was a passenger. Bronston arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting an officer. She was booked and transported to Wood County Jail.
