OnFocus – Drugs are believed to be a factor in a South Central Avenue vehicle accident that took place Friday. Four vehicles were involved in the incident, which was caused when the fourth car in line did not apply brakes when approaching the 7th Street stoplight at a high rate of speed.
Three cars were parked at a red light when the fourth car did not stop, causing a chain reaction. The driver of the car appeared disoriented and is believed to have been operating under the influence, pending official blood test results. They were transported to Marshfield Medical Center with minor injuries.
