Edgar (OnFocus) – The Edgar Wildcats opened up a 33-0 lead in their Level 1 Playoff Game against Iola-Scandinavia, and picked up a 33-13 win to advance to Level 2.
Mattison Butt tossed a 23 yard touchdown to Everett Brehm for Edgar’s first score. Brehm later retuned a punt 48 yards for a score.
Ayden Weisenberger scored on runs of 5 and 37 yards, and Karter Butt added a 5 yard touchdown run.
Edgar travels to Hurley Friday evening for a rematch with the Northstars, in Level 2. Hurley picked up a 22-20 win in overtime during the regular season.
