EDGAR – Edgar jumped out to a 10-point lead by halftime and Auburndale couldn’t recover.

The Wildcats won the Marawood Conference South Division boys basketball game on Friday night, 47-41, to end Auburndale’s chances at a second-straight conference title.

Edgar led 24-14 at halftime and held off a comeback attempt by the Apaches, who fall to 17-3 overall and 12-2 in the Marawood South.
