Edgar blasted Reedsville 41-0 Friday to advance to the state championship in WIAA Division 7 football playoff action. The Wildcats will play Black Hawk in the state title game at 10 a.m. Friday at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.
Edgar jumped on top 28-0 at halftime on four touchdowns, the first of which was a 50-yard interception return by Stoudt. Raatz rushed for a touchdown and also returned a fumble for a TD. Butt returned a punt 51 yards for another touchdown. Raatz and Hafferman each ran for touchdowns in the second half.
Edgar’s defense was dominant throughout, limiting Reedsville to just 75 yards of total offense.
