Elkhart Lake near Sheboygan is home to many resorts and as the cities slogan says it is “A Legendary Wisconsin Getaway” so a mascot of a Resorter is a clear call to their industry. The elk as the actual visual embodiment of the mascot is also a nice touch.
16 Monroe Cheesemakers
A mascot you would think to see more in a state like Wisconsin, Monroe stands alone as the Cheesemakers, and it makes sense, with a Cheese Days festival and having one of the few plants in the US that still makes Limburger. With many other factories and stores in and around Monroe, it is a center of cheese production in Wisconsin.
