TWIN LAKES, WI (OnFocus) – After Kim Beverly’s husband, Frank, passed away earlier this year, she took to social media to try and recapture a piece of his work that had been sold.

She wrote on social media: “I know his is a long shot, but I wouldn’t forgive myself if I didn’t try. Pictured below are baggo boards (corn hole boards) my husband built and last year he convinced me to sell them in our garage sale we had in August 2021 (The garage sale was in Twin Lakes, WI). I only went along with it because he told me he’d make me another set. Last winter he passed away and I would love to have those baggo boards, they mean so much more than a backyard game. I would of course reimburse the owner if they would be willing to sell them back to me. They are Cubs vs Brewers with matching bags, but most distinctive is if you flip the boards over in black sharpie it says Frank Beverly underneath. Thank you in advance for any help you have to offer.”

After being featured on Fox 6 this past weekend and her message was shared throughout the social media platform, the boards were found and returned on July 10.

Later, she updated the post with the following: “The boards have been returned! The sweet family reached out to me today and were more than happy to give them back and would not accept payment for them. They said they are all about paying kindness forward. We are overwhelmed and so thankful for everyone who shared and offered support. We could not have done this without all of your help… Thank you.”

She shared additional information on TikTok later:

@emilybeverly Thank you for you help!! We are so happy to have these back. #baggoboards #twinlakes #thankyou ♬ You Found Me – Instrumental Pop Songs

Kim wrote: “The sweet family was having A BBQ yesterday and someone at the party shared the news report with the wife and they walked over to the boards and flip them over and saw my husband signature, so the family reached out to me today and were more than happy to give them back and would not accept payment for them. They said they are all about paying kindness forward. We are overwhelmed and so thankful for everyone who shared and offered support. We could not have done this without all of your help… Thank you.”

Frank is survived by his wife of 25 years, along with children, Frank R., Emily, Ashley, and Amanda Beverly, and parents Ron and Diane Beverly, among others.
