A recent fashion study has revealed the most popular fashion trends this Valentine’s Day, with cowgirl boots topping the ranking.
Clothing label experts at Super Label Store gathered a list of the most popular fashion trends and analyzed their US search volumes on Google. They ranked each trend’s search volume from the highest to lowest interest to determine the top 10 hottest looks this Valentine’s Day.

Cowgirl boots are easy to style, can be dressed up or down and give a pop of rustic, especially when paired with a feminine dress or flowy skirt this Valentine’s Day. Mississippi has the highest search interest in cowgirl boots, with an average of 214.28 monthly searches per 100,000 people.
The Red Trend
Red has been the go-to color in fashion recently, with the trend ranking second with 219,078 average monthly searches. The ‘red trend’ includes red boots, heels, handbags, tops, skirts, shorts, or tights. A statement red piece in an otherwise muted outfit is the go-to fashion choice right now.

People in Vermont love this trend the most, with 79.03 average monthly searches per 100,000 residents.

Kitten heels rank seventh, with an average of 165,823 monthly searches. These heels are defined by their slender and low heels, making the perfect footwear choice for a feminine yet comfortable look.
This trend is made for those wanting a classic yet functional look this Valentine’s Day, as the lower heel means less pain and more style. Massachusetts searches for kitten heels the most, with 70.08 average monthly searches.
Corsets
Corsets are in eighth place, receiving 164,207 searches a month on average. This trend has witnessed a contemporary resurgence, with its evolution from a restrictive undergarment to an empowering and bold outerwear piece.
Tennis Bracelets
Tennis bracelets rank ninth, with 153,344 average monthly searches. A tennis bracelet is defined by its continuous line of diamonds or gemstones set in a flexible band. It is a timeless accessory that can be styled with any look and give an outfit some bling this Valentine’s Day.
Beanies
Beanies have come in tenth place, gathering 151,734 average monthly searches. They are brilliant winter accessories that are versatile and easy to style as they can be a statement piece, worn more casually or for more polished looks.
Midaxi skirts are the least popular fashion trend this Valentine’s Day, with just 295 average monthly searches. These skirts fall just above the ankle, combining the lengths of a maxi and midi skirt.

Monthly search volume data was sourced from Google Keyword Planner, analyzing searches from January to December 2024 in the U.S. to reveal the top rankings with average monthly search volume.
A list of popular fashion trends was compiled and analyzed based on searches for the trend within related search terms:
