Township of Arpin (OnFocus) – On Saturday morning at 6:33 AM, Wood County Dispatch Center received a call of a crash involving a semi and a UTV near the intersection of State Highway 186 and County Highway K in Wood County.
Emergency personnel determined the female operator and lone occupant of the UTV received fatal injuries after being ejected from the UTV.
The semi driver was not injured.
The initial investigation indicated the UTV and semi were both traveling west on STH 186. The driver of the UTV was attempting to turn into a driveway when the two vehicles collided.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation and the names of those involved will not be released pending family notifications.
