UPDATE 3/19/20: Festival Foods will now be closing at 9 p.m. starting Thursday, March 19 to allow stores to clean and replenish stock levels. Marshfield will open at 5 a.m. Festival recommends elderly customers and those with compromised immune systems to shop in the first hours of the day.
GREEN BAY – At Festival Foods, the safety of our guests and our associates remain our highest priority. Because of the changing COVID-19 situation, we will be altering our store hours.
Beginning Wednesday, March 18, locations previously open 24 hours will now close at midnight and open at 5 a.m. We are making this change to provide our guests and associates the safest environment possible while also replenishing our stock levels.
“It is essential for us to continue to do business in a safe, clean environment with products that our communities need,” said Mark Skogen, Festival Foods president and CEO. “Closing overnight will allow our associates to stock shelves so that product is available for the next morning and make our clean stores even cleaner.”
While Festival Foods associates have always focused on creating a clean store environment for our guests, the additional time overnight will allow us to start the day with the best possible conditions. Because of that, we recommend that our elderly guests, or those with a compromised immune system, visit our locations between 5 a.m. and 7 a.m. to benefit from these conditions.
Our company has a team of leaders monitoring the COVID-19 situation very closely while actively collaborating with our local health agencies. As this group continues to review services and programs, we will communicate any changes on our website.
As Wisconsin’s grocer, we work hard to keep our stores clean and our shelves stocked. At Festival Foods, family is at our core. We go above and beyond to ensure we’re meeting your expectations and, at this moment in time, our mission is no different.
