  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 (14.5 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup skim milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley

DIRECTIONS

  1. Boil an 8-quart stock pot of water and cook pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta and return to pot.
  2. While pasta is cooking, brown ground beef/turkey blend in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add salt, pepper and garlic and continue to cook for about 1 minute. Drain fat.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes and milk. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Fold in pasta and slowly add cheddar, stirring throughout. Simmer until cheddar is melted, about 1 minute.
