Marshfield, WI (OnFocus) With utility employees working around the clock this week to restore power after last weekend’s heavy storms, Wisconsin Public Service teamed up with Festival Foods to provide meals to care for them.

Festival Foods in Marshfield rose to the occasion to fulfill the large order by making and transporting 1,740 box lunches this week to WPS in Wausau and Stevens Point, plus 1,200 cases of water and Gatorade.

“Everyone pulled together,” said Matthew Woller, Deli Leader. “We assembled everything here in-house.”

The storm damage required WPS to rebuilt parts of its network, including the Stevens Point area. Power has now been restored to all but a handful of customers in that area, according to outage maps.
