Marshfield Fire & Rescue Department responded to a general fire alarm Sunday night at Masonite.
A partial roof collapse caused significant damage to the building, including broken water lines which caused water to pour out of the building. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident as it occurred during a shift change, which meant there were only a limited number of people present.
The fire department called in off-duty personnel and staffing apparatus for additional calls in the city. No damage estimate is available or a timeline as to when the building will be operational again.
