MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The highly anticipated opening of a new Five Below store is just around the corner, adding excitement to the redeveloped Marshfield Mall. Construction is underway at the former Yonkers location, with the store slated to welcome customers starting at 10 a.m. on July 7.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed to OnFocus that doors are scheduled to open at 10 a.m. on July 7, at the location of the former Yonkers store within the revamped Marshfield Mall, situated at 503 E. Ives St. (They also noted that the current Five Below website indicates an opening date of June 16, which is not correct.)
With its reputation as a leading value retailer of trendy and high-quality products loved by tweens, teens, and beyond, Five Below is set to make a splash in Marshfield. Offering a wide range of merchandise priced between $1 and $5, shoppers can explore an array of toys, games, gadgets, tech accessories, beauty supplies, arts and crafts, sports gear, home decor, household items, pet supplies, candies, snacks, books, party supplies, and so much more, according to the company’s website.
Operating hours for the store will be from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Philadelphia, Five Below has solidified its presence as a prominent retail chain with over 1,300 stores across 44 states, including 23 locations in Wisconsin alone.
Hobby Lobby has confirmed its relocation to the Marshfield Mall, with an anticipated opening date in early 2024. Additionally, Ross Dress for Less has signed a lease for the Marshfield location and is expected to announce its opening date in the coming months.
Meanwhile, anchor stores such as Ashley Furniture, Kohl’s, and Harbor Freight will continue to serve shoppers at the mall. Notably, World Buffet has already reopened its doors on April 1, showcasing its new location opposite Ashley Furniture.
